Gigiss and family

We shot Gigiss (a web pseudonym) and his family over the Thanksgiving holiday, down in the Bay area, but we've been pretty bogged down. Here, at last, is a preview of some of their shots. They're a lively bunch of characters and it was great fun to finally meet all of them.

D for Mayor

We shot D's shoot in downtown, and our backdrops included one of my favorite buildings-- City Hall. He seemed so comfortable there that we joked that he should be mayor someday. Who knows? He'd certainly have our vote. We thoroughly enjoyed traipsing around the city with him.

Hoping for clearness

We did S's shoot on one of those Northwest days that's becoming more and more common, when you hold your breath and hope that the rain holds. And it did, right up until the last few minutes! But we had a nice couple of hours before then to capture his winning smile.

Out of town

We will be out of town the week of Thanksgiving and will return to the studio on Monday, November 26th. If you have orders pending, we will contact you on Monday.

Pretty in the Pearl

The Pearl District is turning into quite the destination for senior shoots! We had a great time wandering around with L on this bright Saturday, a total fluke in the weather pattern that we've been having. She was game for pretty much anything and so we used a lot of different locations and backdrops. We were having so much fun that we almost went for sushi!

Nature Girl

When we asked R what she was looking for in a location, she said, "Well, I'm really into nature." So we did a large chunk of her shoot up in Forest Park, and then mixed some of the more organic elements of the Pearl in as well.
