Little slice of life

I've been slacking at actually doing a post of our family, our life. Yes, we do have one-- both a family and a life. Photography takes up a lot of it, though, and sometimes I forget to record our moments too.

Today I went with some friends and The Pea to the Plumper Pumpkin Patch for a spring tour. We got to plant a row of pumpkin seeds, see the animals, ride the hayride, and generally have a fabulous time.

Farmer Jim, who taught us how to plant the pumpkins.

Our own little stake of earth. If we go back, we'll be able to track the progress of our pumpkins.

This calf was only six days old.

The Pea talked about "da baby chicks!" all the way home.
